Telecommunications Engineer

We are in search of a Telecommunications Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of telecommunications systems and experience in network design and implementation. Responsibilities

• Assess existing telecommunications infrastructure and recommend improvements.
• Create plans for telecommunication systems installations and upgrades.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for telecom systems.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
• Prepare reports and presentations on system capabilities and performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Master's degree in Telecommunications is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years working in telecom systems design

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS) is a plus
