We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and machine learning, along with experience in handling large datasets to derive actionable insights that drive business strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions and impact our business objectives directly.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on projects.
• Engage in A/B testing and other experimentation to drive product enhancement.
• Leverage big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark for analysis.

Advantageous

• Experience with cloud platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud is an asset.
