Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about patient care in our Durban facility. In this role, you’ll assess and monitor patient conditions, ensuring each individual receives the highest level of care and attention.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and implement appropriate care interventions.
• Ensure comprehensive discharge planning for patients.
• Coordinate care in multi-disciplinary settings.
• Provide information and support to patients and their families.
• Participate in patient care team meetings.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the healthcare environment.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development.
• Participate in emergency response planning.
• Promote patient empowerment through education and support.
• Utilize technology to enhance patient care and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification essential

Experience

• 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred

• Patient Care Planning
• Infection Control

• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual skills (English and Afrikaans): Ability to communicate in multiple languages is an asset.
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR): Familiarity with healthcare software preferred.
