We are in search of a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The successful candidate will focus on developing engineering solutions that address environmental challenges while ensuring compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to design and implement projects aimed at sustainability and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and audits
• Design and implement pollution prevention strategies
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies on compliance issues
• Prepare environmental management plans
• Research and apply innovative solutions to environmental issues
• Engage with local communities and stakeholders
• Analyze data related to environmental monitoring
• Support project teams in integrating environmental considerations
• Develop educational materials on sustainability topics
• Assist in grant writing and project funding applications

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in project management

Technical Skills

• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
• Sustainable Design Practices

Certifications

• Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
