Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive examinations and assessments.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer vaccinations and preventive care services.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
• Utilize electronic health records for patient management.
• Coordinate with specialists for holistic patient treatment.
• Conduct regular health workshops and seminars.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner

Technical Skills

• Emergency Medicine
• Chronic Disease Management

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Family Medicine Board Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Interest in medical research: Interest in participating in medical research projects is a plus.
• Experience with telemedicine platforms: Familiarity with virtual health consultations is advantageous.
