Project Manager

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our construction projects in Cape Town. Your expertise will help in resource allocation, risk management, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
• Resolve any issues that arise during project execution.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors for successful project delivery.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
• Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation and records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the construction sector

• Project Management Software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
