Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist with our team in Johannesburg, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our clients, supporting them with empathy and expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and therapy.
  • Design and implement evidence-based treatment interventions.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive client care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Support crisis intervention and management within therapeutic settings.
  • Engage clients using a strengths-based approach.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in person or through telehealth as needed.
  • Record client progress and treatment effectiveness regularly.
  • Offer consultation services for educational institutions as required.
  • Foster an inclusive environment respecting diverse backgrounds and needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical psychology practices

Advantageous
