Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will provide first-rate technical support to our users, manage IT systems, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks.
• Provide first-line support to end-users for hardware and software problems.
• Install and configure user workstations as per company standards.
• Ensure the security of IT infrastructure by implementing best practices.
• Assist in the deployment of new applications across the organization.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives aimed at improving systems.
• Keep records of maintenance and repairs done on IT equipment.
• Assist in creating technical documentation and user manuals.

Requirements

Education

• BTech in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support roles

Certifications

• CompTIA A+ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
