We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate and manage the monthly close process.
• Monitor financial transactions for compliance and accuracy.
• Advise on internal controls and risk management.
• Help develop financial policies and procedures.
• Work closely with external auditors during audit preparations.
• Provide ongoing support for financial inquiries from clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Professional qualifications (CIMA, ACCA) is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience

Certifications

• CIMA or ACCA certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
