Job Description

As a Tax Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients optimize their tax positions while ensuring compliance with South African tax laws. You will be responsible for evaluating clients' financial situations, providing sound tax advice, and developing tax strategies that align with their business goals.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze complex tax issues and provide recommendations.
• Guide clients through the tax filing process and documentation.
• Assist in the development of internal tax policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on tax developments and trends affecting clients.
• Support training sessions for clients regarding tax compliance.
• Evaluate the impact of new tax regulations on client operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive financial advice.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients for continued support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CTA (Certificate in the Theory of Accounting)

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in tax consulting or advisory services

• Corporate Taxation

Certifications

• Certified Tax Adviser (CTA)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is advantageous

Languages
