We are seeking a motivated Chemical Engineer to support our operations in Pretoria. In this role, you will conduct research, design processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring sustainable chemical solutions to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new chemical manufacturing processes.
• Ensure all processes adhere to environmental and safety standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals.
• Train junior engineers on best practices and safety protocols.
• Perform risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in chemical engineering or related field

• Experience with environmental regulations: Knowledge of local and international environmental legislation relevant to chemical manufacturing.
