We are seeking a proactive and innovative SEO Specialist to join our dynamic digital marketing team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our online presence and increasing organic traffic through effective search engine optimization strategies. You should have experience in conducting keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and staying current with SEO trends. Responsibilities

• Research and analyze competitor SEO strategies.
• Create SEO content strategies for new and existing content.
• Utilize tools for tracking website performance, including Google Analytics and Search Console.
• Collaborate on digital marketing strategies to align SEO with overall marketing.
• Provide ongoing support for SEO best practices during development and redesign.
• Optimize local SEO strategies to improve visibility in local search results.
• Prepare performance reports and recommend actionable insights for SEO improvement.
• Work with PPC teams to integrate search engine marketing and SEO efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a similar field

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience

Technical Skills

• Keyword Research Tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Keyword Planner)
• CMS proficiency (e.g., WordPress)

Soft Skills

• Creative Problem Solving

Certifications

• HubSpot Content Marketing Certification
• SEO Advanced Strategies Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
