Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our passionate team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing therapeutic services to individuals of all ages, working collaboratively with other mental health professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations to assist in treatment planning.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions for a diverse range of clients.
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health disorders and coping strategies.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in research for best practices in psychological interventions.
  • Offer supervision and mentorship to junior therapists and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical psychology

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Communication
Certifications
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
Languages
  • English: Fluent
