Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in addressing health disparities and promoting healthy behaviors across diverse communities. You will oversee program implementation, monitor health outcomes, and ensure effective communication between health entities and the community. A strong background in epidemiology or health promotion will be beneficial in this influential position.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the strategic direction of public health initiatives.
  • Facilitate community workshops and training sessions.
  • Identify and apply for funding opportunities to sustain programs.
  • Report on health metrics and program impact to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with academic institutions on research projects.
  • Advise on nutrition and lifestyle programs for community health.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in public health or community health initiatives
