Tax Consultant

Job Description

As a Tax Consultant, you will be instrumental in guiding our clients through complex tax regulations. Your expertise will ensure they remain compliant and take advantage of all applicable tax benefits. You will work closely with clients to assess their financial situations and help them with effective tax strategies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with South African tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare necessary paperwork and documentation for tax returns.
• Work with clients to develop comprehensive tax strategies.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on tax-related topics.
• Evaluate clients' tax positions and suggest improvements.
• Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist clients with audits and settlements.
• Implement processes that enhance tax compliance and efficiency.
• Review tax returns and financial reports for accuracy.
• Continuously work on enhancing personal tax knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Taxation or a related field

Experience

• 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Tax Filing Software

Certifications

• Additional qualifications in Taxation

Languages

• English: Fluent
