Job Description

We are seeking a talented Production Designer to join our team in Pretoria. The role will involve conceptualizing and creating stunning visual designs for various media projects, ensuring alignment with our clients' vision and goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design work and expertise in art direction.

Responsibilities

• Visualize and articulate design concepts through sketches and digital presentations.
• Support the creative team in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ideas.
• Coordinate logistics for set design implementation, including labor and material specifications.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to inform design decisions.
• Mentor junior designers and assist with their professional development.
• Evaluate and select vendors for design materials and services.
• Manage project budgets and track expenses throughout the production cycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts or a related field
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in film or theatre production design
