Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to manage our pharmacy operations, provide patient care, and promote safe medication practices. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to improving health outcomes in Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medication reviews for patients.
  • Advise on the appropriate use of over-the-counter medications.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training.
  • Collaborate in research and development initiatives.
  • Assess medication distribution processes to improve efficiency.
  • Update and maintain pharmacy databases and patient management systems.
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare teams as needed.
  • Engage in patient follow-ups to monitor therapeutic outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Additional qualifications in clinical pharmacy is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a registered pharmacist.
