Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist responsible for managing and enhancing our cybersecurity efforts in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills and be knowledgeable about various security protocols and technologies to protect our network and data.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve existing security protocols.
• Collaborate with vendors to secure IT solutions.
• Prepare reports and documentation for security activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing.
• Participate in cybersecurity incident response drills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles

• Firewall Management
• Cryptography

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
