We're seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The role involves developing and optimizing chemical processes, conducting experiments, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of chemical engineering principles and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at process improvement and cost reduction.
• Perform chemical analyses and prepare reports on findings.
• Assist with training staff on new processes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure smooth material procurement.
• Implement best practices for waste reduction and resource efficiency.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new project initiatives.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for engineering projects.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to all industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree in process engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the chemical industry
