Data Analyst

Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you will be integral to our operations in Cape Town, applying your analytical expertise to provide insights and support critical business decisions. We’re looking for someone who excels at disseminating information and recommending improvements and solutions based on analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex datasets.
• Work closely with IT and other departments to enhance data strategies.
• Create visual representations of data and analysis findings.
• Compile and analyze data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive reports.
• Develop algorithms and predictive models to enhance data analysis capabilities.
• Train and support team members on data analytic tools.
• Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate in developing data collection systems.
• Communicate insights derived from data in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in strategy development and implementation of analytics projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence roles
