The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing insurance applications, determining risk levels, and making informed underwriting decisions to ensure optimal policy coverage for our clients. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze risk factors to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Prepare reports on underwriting activities and trends for management.
• Engage in continuous development of underwriting skills through training sessions.
• Mentor junior underwriters and provide expertise in underwriting processes.
• Utilize underwriting software and tools to manage applications efficiently.
• Develop strong relationships with agents and brokers to facilitate business growth.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting or risk assessment

Certifications

• Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
