Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to become a part of our dedicated team in East London. You will provide hands-on support, assisting users with technical queries, managing tech installations, and contributing to the upkeep of computer and network systems. A proactive approach and excellent communication skills are key!

Responsibilities

• Manage user accounts and permissions in the company’s IT systems.
• Assist with the installation and setup of new workstations.
• Prepare reports on IT support activities and service performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT department.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related field
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+)

Experience

• 1+ years in a similar IT support role

• Linux OS

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ITIL methodologies: Understanding ITIL best practices for IT service management.
