Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dedicated team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing effective security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current security protocols and recommend improvements.
• Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
• Document security incidents and prepare reports for management.
• Research and implement new security technologies.
• Participate in security awareness campaigns and community outreach.
• Provide ongoing support to IT staff to resolve security-related issues.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and technology.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security
