Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication storage and inventory management.
• Advise on medication selection and dosage adjustments.
• Conduct medication reconciliation.
• Document and report adverse drug reactions.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance in the pharmacy.
• Engage in community outreach programs.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with insurance providers for medication access.
• Assist in managing pharmacy technology systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Requirements

Education

• Pharmacy degree (BPharm or BSc Pharmacy) from an accredited institution

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of community or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
