Job Description

We're on the hunt for a Technical Writer in Johannesburg, who will play a vital role in creating and maintaining documentation for our software applications. You will collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure that user guides, manuals, and online help systems are comprehensive and user-friendly. A strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and publish product documentation and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate representation of technical information.
  • Perform usability testing on documentation to improve clarity and effectiveness.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project updates and documentation needs.
  • Assist in developing templates and best practices for documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field
  • Technical writing certification preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing or related field
