Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols to protect sensitive data from cyber threats. You will collaborate with IT teams to ensure that our systems are secure and compliant with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establish security protocols for new technologies and systems.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Analyze security incidents and produce reports for management.
• Assist in compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Develop incident response strategies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or other authorities if breaches occur.
• Advise on the security implications of various systems and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity roles

Technical Skills

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Malware Analysis

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
