Job Description

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our Pretoria office. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various structural projects, ensuring they meet all safety and regulatory standards. The successful candidate should have a strong background in structural design and project management, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and technical meetings with stakeholders.
• Conduct structural assessments and load calculations.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Research new materials and technologies for improved design efficiency.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure holistic project delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Higher qualifications may be advantageous

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in the field of structural engineering

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Construction Materials Engineering

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certified Structural Engineer (CSE)
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status
