Job Description

As an Underwriter in our company, you will be responsible for assessing insurance applications, analyzing risk, and providing recommendations based on thorough evaluations. This position plays a key role in aligning our services with client needs while ensuring that we maintain our underwriting guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and renewal insurance applications for risk and coverage.
• Utilize statistical analysis to support decisions.
• Work closely with sales teams to understand client needs.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with underwriting standards.
• Document underwriting decisions and update records accordingly.
• Liaise with reinsurers to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Prepare and analyze underwriting reports for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., COM, AINS) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in underwriting or risk assessment
