Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist who will be responsible for safeguarding our networks and data while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of security protocols and emerging threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to incidents promptly.
• Communicate security breaches to upper management and stakeholders.
• Recommend improvements to existing security systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement on cybersecurity matters.
• Develop and maintain an incident response plan.
• Provide technical expertise in investigation and response efforts.
• Compile security reports and present findings to management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Certifications specific to security technologies (Cisco, etc.) would be advantageous.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
