Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team in Durban. Your responsibilities will include dispensing medications, advising patients on pharmaceutical care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe medication practices and address customer inquiries effectively.
• Counsel patients on the proper use of medication and health products.
• Assist in developing pharmacy services and practices.
• Train and supervise pharmacy staff and interns.
• Manage inventory and perform stock checks to maintain optimum levels.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacist

Technical Skills

• Medication Dispensing
• Clinical Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Experience in retail pharmacy: Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting is advantageous.
