Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, managing medication therapy, and providing consultation on health and wellness. A passion for patient care and community service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care by consulting and educating patients about their medications.
• Handle queries related to medication and provide support for health-related inquiries.
• Utilize pharmacy management systems for medication dispensing and patient record-keeping.
• Monitored inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to enhance service delivery.
• Train new pharmacy staff on best practices and regulations.
• Contribute to the pharmacy’s public health initiatives and education efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
• Advanced training in clinical pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community pharmacy
