We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team based in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll be responsible for safeguarding our organization's digital assets by identifying and mitigating potential threats. Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze system logs and network traffic for unusual activity.
• Develop and implement security standards and best practices for our organization.
• Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on our systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to manage security incidents and breaches.
• Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and remediation efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Industry-specific certifications are preferable

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security
