Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations.
• Implement appropriate nursing interventions to improve patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and in-service training.
• Support patients in managing their pain and comfort.
• Handle medical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in emergency response actions as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing with valid registration
• Experience in a specialized nursing field is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant nursing experience

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration
• Patient Monitoring

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Leadership skills: Ability to lead and mentor junior nursing staff.
