Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Tax Consultant to join our Pretoria office. You will provide expert advice and support to our clients on various taxation matters. Your role will involve preparing tax returns, liaising with tax authorities, and helping clients optimize their tax positions. If you have a passion for numbers and a knack for analysis, this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update tax records for client portfolios.
• Advise on VAT and corporate tax issues.
• Assist in training junior tax staff and interns.
• Run workshops and seminars for clients on tax strategies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify potential tax-saving opportunities for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting or Finance
• Honours or Master's degree in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation or related field

Technical Skills

• Budgeting
• Auditing

Soft Skills

• Client Relationship Management
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• SAICA Membership (preferred)
• Certified Tax Adviser (CTA)

Languages

• Afrikaans: Proficient
• English: Fluent
