Responsibilities

• Aid in filling prescriptions under the guidance of a pharmacist.
• Provide exemplary customer service and support.
• Ensure all medications are stored following safety guidelines.
• Assist in training new staff as needed.
• Manage documentation and record-keeping for prescriptions.
• Facilitate drug recalls and inventory audits.
• Support pharmacy outreach activities and health promotions.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Certification in Pharmacy Assistance is preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting

Technical Skills

• Inventory Management
• Pharmaceutical Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Previous retail pharmacy experience: Experience in a retail setting is an advantage.
