Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team in Kimberley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems in our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all mechanical systems are operational and efficient.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes.
• Provide technical support and training to other staff members.
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector

Technical Skills

• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Mechanical Troubleshooting
• Welding
• Preventative Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• N3 qualification or equivalent: An additional qualification would be beneficial.
• Experience with CNC machines: Familiarity with CNC machinery would be advantageous.
