IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician who is skilled in providing technical support and ensuring smooth IT operations in our Port Elizabeth office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting users, and maintaining IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hardware and software faults.
• Install and configure operating systems and applications.
• Ensure data backups are conducted regularly.
• Collaborate with team members on IT solutions.
• Assist with cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information.
• Handle first-level technical support and escalate issues as necessary.
• Maintain a high level of customer service when addressing inquiries.

Requirements

Education

• Completed IT certifications are advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience in a technical support role preferred
