UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative UI Designer to join our Cape Town office. As part of our design team, you'll be responsible for crafting visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for various digital platforms. You'll work closely with UX designers and developers to translate wireframes into stunning user interfaces that enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Craft user-centered UI designs that align with project goals and user needs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with UX researchers to understand user behaviors and preferences.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
• Work in conjunction with brand teams to ensure designs align with overall brand identity.
• Design interfaces that enhance user engagement and boost interactions.
• Facilitate workshops to brainstorm design solutions with the team.
• Assist in creating marketing material that accurately reflects design systems.
• Contribute insights on design processes to enhance team efficiency.
• Represent the design team in project meetings and discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s in Design or relevant field
• Relevant certifications are an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years in UI/UX design or related fields

Technical Skills

• Adobe XD
• User Research

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of WCAG guidelines to ensure inclusivity.
