Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient health.
• Develop and execute individualized care plans.
• Supervise junior nursing staff and provide mentorship.
• Document patient interactions and responses accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention and health maintenance.
• Assist in preparing patients for surgical procedures.
• Participate in training and skill development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing (or equivalent)
• Registered Nurse certification in South Africa

Experience

• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred

• Clinical Assessment

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Bilingual abilities: Ability to communicate in English and another language such as Afrikaans or Zulu.
