Job Description

We are looking for a talented Blockchain Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our development group, you will work on designing and implementing blockchain networks and applications that solve complex problems and enhance secure transactions. Candidates should have a solid understanding of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and cryptographic principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop decentralized applications (dApps) based on blockchain protocols.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Utilize programming languages such as Solidity for smart contract development.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented in all blockchain applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot blockchain issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in project planning and scoping sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Blockchain Technology preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in blockchain development
