Job Description

The Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operator (UAS Operator) will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of unmanned aircraft systems for various industries. The role demands ensuring compliance with all regulations and maintaining high standards throughout all flight missions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the safe operation of unmanned aircraft in diverse environments.
  • Ensure that all missions meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements.
  • Train new UAS operators on operational protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Enhance software and equipment use for better data management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to share insights and improve processes.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss performance and improvements.
  • Assist in maintaining the company's UAS certifications and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for incorporating new technologies into operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Commercial Pilot's License or Remote Pilot's License
  • UAS Operator Certificate
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in UAS operation, specifically in surveying or inspection contexts
