Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Physiotherapist to join our team in East London. If you are passionate about rehabilitation and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this position is for you. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with various conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through clinical evaluation and functional tests.
• Create and implement effective treatment protocols for various ailments.
• Monitor rehabilitation progress and modify treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
• Advise patients on physical lifestyle changes to enhance recovery.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to promote integrated healthcare.
• Support and assist with outreach programs and health awareness initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
• Registration with the HPCSA is mandatory

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a rehabilitation setting

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
• Manual Therapy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with elderly rehabilitation: Experience in providing care for older adults with mobility issues.
• Research experience in physiotherapy: Involvement in physiotherapy research projects or studies.
