Job Description

We are seeking a highly competent Internal Auditor to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining financial statements, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role is crucial in safeguarding our company’s assets and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify weaknesses in controls and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare audit documentation and work papers.
• Assist with external audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Train staff on compliance standards and internal procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CIA or equivalent certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in auditing or finance roles

Certifications

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
