We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. This role will involve assessing environmental impacts, developing sustainable practices, and collaborating with various stakeholders to implement effective environmental solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on emerging environmental technologies.
• Lead projects aimed at reducing environmental impacts.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.
• Evaluate and improve existing environmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in grant writing and securing funding for environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in environmental assessment and compliance

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
• CGEP Certified Green Energy Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans or other local languages: Ability to communicate effectively with local communities and stakeholders.
