Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems and will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Oversee the installation of wiring and electrical components.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors on project requirements.
• Prepare reports on electrical work completed and any potential issues.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years in electrical maintenance and repair

Technical Skills

• Voltage Testing
• Electrical Code Compliance

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• ELECTROTECHNICIAN Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of PLC programming: Experience with programming and troubleshooting PLC systems.
