Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of psychological principles, providing therapeutic services to a diverse clientele. As part of our mental health team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat various psychological issues, ensuring the best possible care for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological testing and assessments.
  • Create and adjust personalized therapy programs.
  • Provide therapeutic services using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with family members in treatment when appropriate.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
  • Educate the community on mental health issues.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and ethical handling of patient information.
  • Support the administrative team in operational tasks if needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or equivalent
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology highly regarded
Experience
  • 3-5 years in a clinical setting
