Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are in search of a Cybersecurity Consultant who will take charge of identifying security threats and implementing measures to counteract them. Your role will directly contribute to enhancing our overall security landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective security strategies to protect digital assets.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
• Respond to security incidents and provide analysis and remediation.
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Liaise with vendors for security software and tools.
• Develop and implement employee training programs focused on security awareness.
• Ensure effective communication of security measures throughout the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles

Technical Skills

• Penetration Testing
• Data Protection

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Scripting Skills: Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks.
• Experience with Security Operations Centers (SOCs): Knowledge and prior experience working in a SOC environment.
