We are seeking a dedicated Tax Consultant who will be responsible for advising clients on tax matters and ensuring timely compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate tax risks for clients.
• Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
• Represent clients in tax disputes and negotiations.
• Prepare tax impact assessments for various transactions.
• Enhance client relationships through effective communication.
• Draft technical tax opinions and advice for complex issues.
• Support strategic planning and corporate restructuring as needed.
• Review compliance documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage client engagements and ensure timely deliverables.
• Monitor tax trends and advise clients on potential impacts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Taxation
• Master's degree or additional certifications preferred

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of direct tax experience

• Corporate Taxation

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiZulu: Basic
