Job Description

As a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of machinery that transports stone from quarries to processing sites. This role demands solid knowledge of heavy machinery along with a keen eye for safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Train new operators on machinery operation and safety practices.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team during repairs and maintenance work.
• Conduct safety audits and report findings to management.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies necessary for operations.
• Assist in preparing reports on machine performance and safety incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Additional training in heavy machinery operation and maintenance is preferred

Experience

• Experience in the mining industry is advantageous
