SOC Analyst

Job Description

In the role of SOC Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring and defending against cyber threats. Your insights and expertise will help to protect our organization’s network and systems from malicious activities. You will analyze security incidents, conduct investigations, and support the team in implementing remediation measures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security alerts and determine the severity of incidents.
• Engage in forensics investigations into security breaches.
• Communicate efficiently with various internal departments during incidents.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security measures.
• Review and update incident response protocols as necessary.
• Keep abreast of current cybersecurity threats and tactics.
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements in security processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Additional certifications in cybersecurity are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security operations

Technical Skills

• Penetration Testing
• Firewall Configuration

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
